Universal Islands of Adventure
Thrills at Every Turn
Islands of Adventure is built around the spirit of exploration, with each themed island delivering its own world of adventure. The Jurassic World VelociCoaster and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure are perennial favorites. Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, The Lost Continent, and Hogsmeade round out a park that balances pulse-pounding thrills with family-friendly fun for all ages.

Universal Epic Universe
A New Era of Theme Park Experience
Epic Universe opened May 22, 2025, as Universal Orlando’s fourth park, and it has already reset expectations for what a theme park can be. Five themed worlds await: Celestial Park, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon, Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo World, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Ministry of Magic. Headline attractions include Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, and the dual-tracked Stardust Racers coaster. Super Nintendo World adds interactive Power Up Band gameplay throughout the land. In March 2026, the park received an unprecedented four Thea Awards, the highest honor in themed entertainment.

Universal Volcano Bay
Tropical Thrills, Zero Waiting in Line
Volcano Bay is a Polynesian-themed water paradise where a virtual queuing system means you relax on the beach or in the lagoon until your ride is ready. From the Krakatau Aqua Coaster to gentle river floats and dedicated kids’ areas, it balances thrills and relaxation beautifully. Note that Volcano Bay follows a seasonal schedule and is planned to close in late October 2026, with a reopening on or before April 1, 2027. This is something to keep in mind when planning your dates. I’ll make sure your itinerary accounts for it.

Universal CityWalk
Where the Fun Doesn’t Stop at the Park Gates
CityWalk is the dining and entertainment district at the heart of Universal Orlando Resort, and entry is free. From The Cowfish and Voodoo Doughnut to the legendary Hard Rock Cafe, live music venues, a movie theater, and seasonal events, CityWalk keeps the energy going long after the parks close. It is the perfect way to start or end any Universal day.
